Artificial intelligence is a field of computer science concerned with the development of systems capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence. These tasks include learning, reasoning, problem solving, perception, and natural language understanding.
Modern AI systems often rely on statistical models and machine learning techniques. In particular, artificial neural networks are widely used to detect complex patterns in large datasets.
Many current AI applications belong to the field of deep learning. In deep learning, multi-layer neural networks are trained on massive datasets in order to model highly complex relationships in images, text, or audio.
