More Enchantment Power Through Optimal Bookshelf Farming

The strength of your enchantments largely depends on the number and position of bookshelves around your enchantment table. With a clever arrangement, you can reach the maximum enchantment level of 30 and thus obtain better equipment.

How to build an effective bookshelf farm:

1. Place the enchantment table centrally: It works best on a block with free space around it so that bookshelves can have their full effect.
2. Place bookshelves with a one-block gap: The shelves must be exactly one block away from the enchantment table, either at the same height or one block higher.
3. Use the maximum number: For the strongest enchantments, you need 15 bookshelves surrounding the table on 3 sides. Make sure no block stands between the table and the shelves, as this blocks the effect.
4. Expand the farm modularly: You can always expand or rearrange the bookshelves to test different enchantment levels.
5. Use wooden shelves: They are easy to craft and provide the same effect as more expensive materials.
