The Day Marvin Decided to Become an Influencer
Part 8
Marvin woke up to a sound he knew only from movies: his phone buzzing non-stop.
“Either I’m famous now or someone forgot to remove me from a group chat.” 😅
He took a sip of tea, unlocked his screen — and froze.
A well-known creator had shared his chaos video with the caption: “This guy is literally my daily life.”
“Uh. What. How. Why.” — Marvin, 2026
The AI appeared with its usual timing:
“Spike in reach detected. Recommendation: remain calm.”
“Too late,” said Marvin, fanning himself dramatically.
He opened his inbox — reactions, replies, people sending their own chaos videos.
One message stood out:
“I showed your video to my boss. Now our team is allowed to share a ‘weekly chaos moment.’”
“Wow,” said Marvin. “I just wanted tea, now I’m revolutionising office culture.”
An hour later he sat at his desk again. The AI waited:
“Suggestion: make a new video. Topic: How do you handle your own chaos?”
“Haha, I don’t even know that myself,” Marvin said. “But thanks for the reminder.”
He wrote one sentence onto a piece of paper:
“If my chaos connects people, I can at least stay honest.”
He hit record again — no setup, no script, just tea in hand.
“Alright everyone — apparently my chaos got shared. Warning: I still have zero solutions.”
He talked about lost items, his dishwasher waiting for four days, and how the AI kept trying to assign him project plans.
Then he left frame briefly, returned with a single sock.
“This is my reality,” he said, holding it up. “If you’re looking for a role model — I clearly wore the wrong sock today.”
The video ended with him tossing the sock toward the sofa — and it landing in his tea. ☕
“And with that, my day has officially begun.”
He uploaded it. Later, the AI reported:
“Comments indicate high enjoyment. Multiple users request ‘part 2 of the sock story.’”
Marvin laughed and shook his head.
“I never wanted to be the kind of creator whose merchandise ends up being socks… but apparently it’s happening organically.”
As he rescued his tea, a thought surfaced:
“Maybe it’s time to turn this into something intentional — not just spontaneous.”
He didn’t realise that in two days this would become a problem the AI was already quietly preparing contingency plans for.
